Azure Cloud Engineers work on the Managed Hosting team to monitor, maintain and improve all Azure managed servers, databases, apps, etc. This Senior role works closely with the Associate Director, Cloud Services and Director of Information Technology to ensure that all appropriate metrics are being monitored, the managed Azure infrastructure is healthy and that all service and response time SLAs are met.  This role responds to helpdesk inquiries and facilitates timely resolution of issues reported by clients or other team members. *This position is a 6-8 month contract in our Experience Design Department*   We’re looking for a strategic thinker and leader who champions human-centered design and can confidently provide strategic vision and direction to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team during our upfront, undefined phases of experience design.   The Senior Experience Strategist Contractor thinks about how the digital experience can transform a client’s business proposition and what role that experience should play for the brand. This includes ensuring that both internal and client teams remain user-focused and that the experience we create aligns with the strategic goals of the business.   The Senior Experience Strategist Contractor provides clarity of purpose to clients and experience design by working with key stakeholders to understand their objectives, researching current barriers and challenges, and recommending solutions that tie back to larger marketing objectives. This individual will work with the client and project team to identify success criteria and key performance indicators and reflect on these indicators after a project has launched.   The Senior Experience Strategist Contractor is expected to stay up to date on web industry best practices and emerging trends to better steer clients toward solutions that match their business goals. Website analytics and primary audience research (both quantitative and qualitative) are key tools of the strategist, as recommendations are driven by data whenever possible.   This individual will work closely with UX Designers, Visual Designers, Content Strategists, Business Systems Analysts, Digital Marketing and SEO Analysts, and Client Services. Both internal and client teams will look to the Senior Experience Strategist for consultation and leadership across phases of the design process (for current and future projects).

To help us do that, Velir is looking for an Analytics Engineer who can help consult with our clients and deploy the modern data stack in transformative ways. Our clients span many industries from mission-driven non-profits to B2B software companies to consumer-focused e-commerce brands, but recent industry trends have created a consistent demand to capture, process, store, and report on first-party customer data. This data is then deployed to generate customer insights, predictive models, and often used to generate personalized customer experiences. The Analytics Engineer role will dive into our client’s needs, apply appropriate technologies such as DBT, Power BI, and Snowflake, and contribute towards a wider data-driven culture within our client’s organizations.   Our ideal candidate has experience with the modern data stack (ELT tools like Fivetran, cloud-based data warehouse tools like Snowflake, transformation tools like DBT, and reporting tools like Power BI), keeps up to date on emerging trends within the analytics engineering community, and can help explain technical concepts and trade-offs to business users.
